The Robin Thicke song is just your typical Neptunes beat with a Michael Jackson vocal sample in the background.

One songs a ripoff, the other offers nothing new. These are the best songs out there at the moment?

I talked about that he totally stole the song from breakbot...anyway the breakbot song a.k.a new bruno is better than the other song imo..and I'm tired of Pharrell he is in every single around and he doesn't sing well at all sorry but his voice is nothing special

It was acknowledged and discussed here in another thread that Bruno's Treasure was definitely inspired by Breakbot's song. But Treasure still is a great song no matter how much it sounds like Breakbot's song--which is a really good song too. I enjoy them both.

Never see Breakbot mentioned here so I assumed nobody knew about him. Yes, Bruno contacted Ed Banger who did not give him permission. Yet he went ahead anyways.

Completely agree with you about the Robin Thicke song.. Just your typical recycled Neptunes beat that takes over the song along with the MJ sample.

Today's production is cookie cutter and uninspired.

I have never heard of Breakbot until reading this post. Thanks for introducing me, Listening to "By Your Side" album now.. and digging it. biggrin
