Chrisette Michele is feeling refreshed and pure as she shines on the striking cover art for her upcoming fourth album Better. The R&B songstress shows off her fit figure as she lays across a plush couch in the recently revealed image.

The new project, which as been preceded by first single “A Couple of Forevers” is due June 11 on Motown/Island Def Jam. The album will includes features from 2 Chainz (‘Charades’), Wale (‘Rich Hipster’), Musiq Soulchild, and her brother Lem Payne.

Chrisette is currently on tour with Keyshia Cole and will launch her own “Better” tour later this year.

I sure enjoyed seeing her open for Chaka Khan a couple of years ago.

Dig the song. I like that she brings something new to Jazzy R&B. Love her, but not digging the album cover.

I saw her Sunday night in Philly opening for Keyshia Cole. Of course I had a free

ticket. Her show was good and the fans who came to see her were classy then

Keyshia took the stage and the all her ghetto ass female fans poured in just before she came on. She walked right pass me as she came in from the back of the theatre and made her way to the stage in her ghetto Wonder Woman outfit. Mercifully she changed before changing to her slow set.

Keyshia was alright but before she came on and between her taking a break

between sets her DJ was just playing nonsense like Lil Wayne and a bunch of

other rap tunes with lewd lyrics and some of the ghetto ass females were just

into this shit. Chrissette is a very classy lady. I actually got to see her at the

CIAA tournament in Charlotte and got to take a picture with her and get an

autographed photo of her too. I don't have any of her music but i will check out

the new album.

She's one of the most under-appreciated female artists in R & B.

The cover art does nothing for me either. It looks like a cheaply produced perfume ad.

Man....I really wish folks would CREATE their music.

I, too, frowned a little on the O'jays' "Stairway to Heaven" sample. Original music would make an even more elegant song greater.

I feel you, though. I heard this on the radio the other day and thought it was Pure Soul, then realized it was Chrisette. I'm like Prince, a sample should only be used to enhance a song. Not as a loop for no reason.

What happened to the April 30th release date?!

April 30th ain't happening. I'm confused about the tweaked date, but I can wait a while longer.

I love her, she always delivers live and she is one of the best female voices we have today, looking forward to her new album!
