How would you rate Common as a rapper? Not a huge fan and I wouldn't even have him in my top 20. I get that he wants to make a difference and be a community leader of some sort, but he is too earnest and preachy and lacks humor. What say you? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries." | |

Gifted and I see why the Obamas invited him to perform @ the White House. Of course the Right Wing TRIED to label Common as a past cop hating Thug and said he should NEVER have been invited to the White House because he's a Bad guy....

Common is one the greatest rappers to ever come on the scene. He and Mos Def are on the same playing field, IMO. Both are extremely talented yet extremely underrated. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |
