Is Roachford worth getting into?

And can anyone recommend any tunes/cds of his?

I really like the first one. If you like Prince you will like it. I still listen to it every once in awhile. I didn't like the 2nd one. Not near the energy imo.

I don't really know more than the big singles (I really must correct this), but the search engine in my brain saw "Roachford" and "TTD" and instantly threw up this result:

Go get the album, "Permanent Shade Of Blue". One of my fave CDs in my collection. Still gets heavy rotation in my house smile It's a belter from start to finish.

Gorgeous album. Stand out tunes....erm.... all of them !!

Some strong singles on there;

"Only To Be With You"

"Lay Your Love On Me"

"This Generation"

Little? Yeah, right. It might be little but it's loud

I own the album Get Ready (I think that's it's name), and it's really good.

But not as good. The first single Cuddly Toy was a hit, but the self-titled debut album didn't contain more than two or three strong songs. I'd say, if you like Prince and TTD, Roachford won't surprise you or blow you away.

I don't know much about his solo music, but he was was singing with Mike + The Mechanics and is on their last album The Road (2011).
