Alternate Tracklistings Lately, I've been listening to albums in full (or nearly). I have, in addition to this, been making playlists for the albums, but with alternate tracklists. So I was wondering: Who else does this? For what records? What tracks (I feel I've been saying "tracks" too often...)? Anyway, what have been some alternate playlists that you have made (Prince and Non-Prince)?
Here's one: David Bowie, "The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars" (AKA "All The Young Dudes") 1. Five Years 2. Soul Love 3. Port Of Amsterdam 4. Moonage Daydream 5. Starman 6. Lady Stardust 7. John, I'm Only Dancing 8. Star 9. Round And Round 10. All The Young Dudes 11. Holy Holy 12. Bombers 13. Hang On To Yourself 14. Suffragette City 15. Rock & Roll Suicide 16. I don't, but, since I don't have this album, I'm wondering something else:is Port of Amsterdam a Bowie original or an English translation of the Jacques Brel chanson?

I always listen to Roxy Music's Avalon with side two in order, followed by side one in order. Try it some time! Much better sequence.

I believe it's a Jacques translation. [Edited 3/12/13 16:51pm]

If it's about sailors getting drunk, it is! Bowie seems like the kind of guy who would know Brel. Not everbody in England does. Maybe I should be checking this album out...
