The Spinners - "Heaven On Earth (So Fine)"- 1977

...

Underrated track from The Spinners' 1977 album, "Spinners 8", and a showcase for newcomer John Edwards, replacing Phillipe Wynne, who left the group earlier that year for a solo career.

Not a big hit, but it's one of my favorites from them, I always thought it made a good companion piece to "They Just Can't Stop It (Games People Play)"....

nod all of their 70s albums are superb,even the first few albums they recorded after Phillipe Wynne left.My favorite Spinners album is 1975's Pick Of The Litter.
