Karen Carpenter - 30th Anniversary of Her Death

March 2, 1950 - Feb. 4, 1983

Self-titled solo album that was shelved because her brother Richard didn't like the album; it was released in 1996. I thought I'd pick her only solo work to remember that beatiful voice. RIP

Tracklist:
01. Lovelines (5:06)
02. All Because Of You (3:31)
03. If I Had You (3:54)
04. Making Love In The Afternoon (3:57)
05. If We Try (3:46)
06. Remember When Lovin’ Took All Night (3:50)
07. Still In Love With You (3:15)
08. My Body Keeps Changing My Mind (3:46)
09. Make Believe It’s Your First Time (3:12)
10. Guess I Just Lost My Head (3:36)
11. Still Crazy After All These Years (4:17)
12. Last One Singin’ The Blues (3:29)

I should mentioned it wasn't only Richard who wasn't impressed with the solo outing, neither was her recorded company A&M records, hence it was shelved. Here's the link to the New York Times article about the 1996 release of Karen's album and the personal and professional struggles Karen endured.
