This album blew my mind. I can't stop listening to it.

My favorite cut is Bigshot. I love it when the horns come in and the beat is just so funky. Getaway is my second favorite, I love the frantic guitar and the solo is epic.

If anyone reads this and can shoot along similar and more recent listens, I would love that. I could not get into Trombone Shorty.

This album, me'shell's Nina Simone tribute, allen toussaint's bright mississippi and kd lang's last album sing it loud give me hope that breathtaking and soulful quality music is still out there.
