How would you rate Method Man as a rapper?

One of the best to ever do it, average or his raps are just ok for Wu Tang?

I personally feel he was one of the best to ever do it. That flow especially in the '90s was sick as fuck...

36 Chambers - one of the greatest ever. DAMN, I miss 1993 & 1994!

Also, check out Method Man & Biggie's 'The What' from Biggie's 'Ready to Die'. Shit is tight!

I'm not sure that Meth is THE best rapper in Wu Tang per se (I think Ghostface Killah was better, IMO), but he is definitely Wu Tang main sex symbol in the eyes of their female fans, not to mention that he has a sense of humor.

He's not even 3rd best. I'd take Ghostface, Raekwon and GZA as better lyricist.

But he's more charasmatic than all 3, so that's what made him so popular.
