Donell is sort of in the same stagnant period as Avant is. Great singer, but mediocre material. I bought the Lyrics album just off the "Love Like This" song alone which is fire, but the album sucked donkey balls. The material was stale as month old bread. Hopefully his next album will be better.

You took that song right out of my head! I thought this song was dope but I don't think it went anywhere. I loved the production on it. This song and "Where I Wanna Be" are my faves from him

I do see your point and agree but he does have alot of gems in his catalogue despite that and his a good songwriter-storytelling. I think Where I Wanna Be is a solid album. I wish he get more shine the same with Avant so Trey, Chris, and Neyo can finally retire.
