Thank you a thousand times! Oddly enough this past week I was just thinking of this band and trying to remember their name! Loved these guys in 1990!

My favorite song...

The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Remember there is only one destination and that place is U
All of it. Everything. Is U.

I love Jellyfish! Easily one of the most talented bands in the 90's. They all have been more successful in their individual endeavors as well. keyboardist Roger Joseph Manning jr. has recorded and produced everyone including Beck, Air, Cheap Trick and way too many others to name.

Hey, this is badass. I like the voice.

I don't know why I never heard of that jelly fish before, I guess I must have been more concerned with fat big ass birds.

Prince I will always miss and love U.

I seen Jellyfish play a tiny club. back when alt music was just starting to pickup speed. amazing show, i remember rockin out in the pit to 'all i want is everything'. 2/3rds of the Blake Blabies opened. i remember hanging out with some hippy chicks that were binging on smarties and they brought this carpet to the show and rolled it out. i crashed the bar early walked in ordered a drink got served and 45 min of sitting at the bar with some of the guys from Jellyfish the bartender goes "the bar is closed until showtime!!!" wtf and i just sat there. lol

JF left some great music and I agree they all done good. Sturmer does a lot of behind the scenes stuff, like cartoon jingles and he also tried to complete a solo album and pieces of it are on the web. they have a huge cult following to this day but its a shame they never made it made it and were able to maintain. i understand they got a terrible deal. they were musical candy. brilliant live and in the studio. i miss them. Wish Sturmer wasn't so behind the scenes but he makes more money than he ever did in band.

Interesting timing, I just picked up their two albums about a week ago. Never heard them before but I'm a fan of Sturmer's work with Puffy.

I Loved Jellyfish, they were one of my favorite bands of the 90's . It's a shame that Grunge was dominating the airwaves at the time, they should have been way more popular. Imo, they had a great knack for melody, harmonies, and song production....especially at a time when most Rock was just relying on that "Three Chords and the Truth" crap....

Bedspring Kiss

Russian Hill

New Mistake

That entire record is awesome pop rock!

I wholeheartedly agree with you, about them deserving more success as a band then they received. I forgot about Andy being involved in the Puffy Ami Yumi music. My daughter had the cd and I remember hearing an actual Jellyfish song on it. I don't have the time right now, but it would great to see a discography of the former band members, just to show how in demand their talent is.

nice!! a boxset exists as well its called "fan club" = 4cd of demos, live etc but its oop and hard to find. i bought it when it was first released for $50! They now fetch $200! These guys still have a massive cult following to this day, no doubt they had the magic.
