I'm Really Loving Britney On X-Factor

She's humorous, she's honest, she's complimentary when it's deserving, she's fantastic camera candy. I'm a happy stan. This is the smartest move she's made in 7 years.

Unlike Nicole, at least Britney is very brave in voting people off the damn show.

It's a joke to hear the autotune queen tell other people they're not good singers falloff Nicole was so nice because she was on a reality show Pop Stars or something like that when she was put in that Eden's Crush group. Nicole knows what it's like to be a talented, yet struggling artist. Shitney doesn't know what it's like to be either.

What show are you guys watching? Does it broadcast in a parallel universe?

Because I record X-Factor and it's terrible. It's is so much worse than last year.

Courage? Funny? Britney? What?

Britney acts like a ditz. She is completely drugged up and wears the same perpetual WTF deer-in-headlights expression.

She says nothing of substance (neither does Demi).

She's like a zombie with no personality.

You can tell she doesn't know on her own how to rate singers because she looks to Simon and L.A. to see if they like something. (Demi does this too). She takes cues.

Worst casting ever.

When the live shows start, it will be obvious what a trainwreck the judging panel is, particularly Brit.

Let's hope she can hold it together and won't crack under the pressure.

It's obvious you're a hater. She's been receiving nothing but praise, even from her harshest critics.

Even though i think having Britney judge a singing show.. is on the same level of stupidity as letting a homophobe judge a drag queen show lol

It is entertaining how she will bite someone fast, guess those hillbilly years with Federline toughed her up.

Britney for me still seems "off" mentally and emotionally. She often seems scared or disgusted with contestants unless they're kids or teens. I do like that she's not afraid to say "no" to people but that's all she says really. Her comments are very short and predictable. She'll say "no", "yes" or "you rock". She's in her 30's but comes across as a 16 year old valley girl. Not very bright at all with a very limited vocabulary and doesn't give constructive, in depth comments. Even the younger Demi Lovato gives much better and more in depth comments to contestants than Britney.

I'm over Britney on this show. She's pretty much useless on it to me.

lol Wow, I'm definitely not a Britney fan but some of the comments are a bit harsh. She can't be that bad. Of course, I wouldn't really know because I refuse to watch this show because of her; so, I can't really say whether she's bad or not to be completely honest. Seriously, the moment I heard she was going to be judging a singing competition, I refused to give the show ratings because the idea of her judging singers who don't get the luxury of having top producers alter their vocals is pretty ridiculous to me. I think she would have been a waay better fit on 'America's Got Talent' because there are more than just singers on that show. I love Christina but even I think that she needs to stop squeezing into outfits when she does performances on 'The Voice'. However, I'd take Christina judging singers over Britney anyday of the year and Ms. Aguilera has proven that she can make intelligent comments when it comes to her cristisms of a singer's vocal abilities or lack thereof. Watch 'The Voice' people and stop helping Simon pay Britney that $15 million dollars he agreed on. No matter how much I love Mariah, I don't think I'm gonna even tune into 'Idol' now that they decided to put Nicki Minaj as a judge...uh no thanks; I'm good.

I watch both shows -- but the Voice is the only one I watch live. It is heads and tails above X-Factor:

* The talent is much better.

* They don't waste time on obviously bad singers.

* The judges don't waste time with fluff comments. Their comments have a purpose: to get you to choose your mentor.

* The rapport between the judges is sooo much better; they are lively, have fun and make the viewers have fun.

*The judges aren't cynical jerks who try to humiliate contestants; even if a contestant doesn't meet their standards, they don't put people down or try to embarass them for ratings. This makes my heart feel good.

The X-factor is the complete opposite.

*They've even managed to get more cynical and superficial (Did Simon really put a princess crown on Britney's head yesterday? And make her princess for a day? So lame and ridiculous).

*This show always wastes time with dumb, pandering shyt " like quick shots to Brintey saying "Awww." or quik shots of Brtney showing her constipation smile.

*Even though the judges are pretending to have fun with each other like on The Voice (copycats), the show itself is just mean:

--- They now show contestants being jealous of each other. That wasn't an element last year, but they've are working hard to show jealous scenes and contestants speaking maliciously about each other on each episode. Why??? (because this is Simon's core personality and he thinks the world loves meanness).

--- They pretended to have a contestant -- whom judges had already humiliated by leaving their seats while he was performing -- arrested because he left with his microphone. Their were several assitants around when he came off the stage and walked out -- why didn't' they ask for the microphone. They had police come and put this young black teen in handcuffs and a police car. Seriously? Go to hell. (Then I find out on TMZ he really wasn't arrest -- it was just for show! Humiliation and criminalizing contestants is outrageously entertaining isn't it? Not. )

-- They call security on contestants and film their atomic breakdowns -- this is after goading people into losing it with snarky remarks.

The spirit of the show is just terrible.

* On top of that ... the talent is medicore -- yet L.A. and Brainless Brit call them "brilliant" "greatest ever" and say "you have the X factor!" I always think do you guys really believe what you're saying or do you think the audience is super dumb?

Yes, Britney is as bad as I said. If publications are praising her, surely it is because they have low expectations and didn't expect much from her anyway.

Last year X-Factor was very entertaining to me and that's why I watch--, despite the fact that Simon is an ass and L.A. Reid, who I used to like, has become a complete jerk. I will always remember Rachel Crow, Drew, Marcus, Melanie, Astro, STacy and even that Prince copycat dude who failed to make the finals. I keep hoping this season can be as good as last yar but that's apparently NEVER going to happen. My only hope is that Khloe Kardashian becomes host for the live shows and shakes this show up lol

Britney is underwhelming..I really hope she improves. I never thought Demi would be out-judging her.

X-Factor is all about find the next big pop star like Rihanna. I don't watch The Voice, but from what I've heard they're all about finding an "alternative" or "niche" type of artist.

Simon knew he messed up when he pimped out Melanie last year, but it was too late. A big ballad diva is so 90s, I'm sorry but Melanie is a FLOP. They're gonna pay her that 5 million and give her the boot. She's not marketable.

This is why they're changing which kind of contestants they are focusing on this year, you can't tell me the auditions they showed are the absolute best voices out of the millions of people who auditioned.

Sorry to be blunt, but X-Factor's target demographic is 14-17 year old white girls because they are the majority and they buy/download music.

I still love the show and I will watch it, but let's not forget what the main goal is: to make money.

I really would of thought these glorified karoke shows would of gone by now?

How people year after year watch contestants singing the same shit when its the same songs you hear everywhere by the superior original artist anyway is beyond me? Ok for a year or 2, but these things have been going on for decades now!

In the UK at least, reports say X factor is bombing compared to previous years. I hope their demise is in sight.

OMFG, I know! I feel like at some point someone will probably start a Tumblr blog dedicated to her facial expressions.

Rumoured to have bipolar disorder and she is on meds, but a britney fan told me last year it was a rumour and was never confirmed, though for years I thought it was. I'm pretty sure I'd read that, and that her father was a substitute decision maker.

Wow, that can be emotionally draining for her and her family/friends. I don't think her camp will ever let it get out in the press because it would affect a lot of people's opinion of her.
