Well if Clint Eastwood said that Beyonce is the next Ella Fitzrgerald........

Alll these legends say this shit just for hype and to get in good graces with the media, critics, fan etc..... yes it annoying but they just say these things for attention......I dont take it seriously...

honestly i dont even know why she is commenting on this, one its ignornant for the interviewer, and to be honest 99.9% of journalists and writers are wannabe stars so they do stupid questions. As for Anita shes like 60 right? commenting on a 20 whatever year olds issues, and sorry ANITA his demons are different than others to just lump in your generation and say its all the same is pure BS, never dug Anita because she talks alot of crap, not the first time.

I like Anita BUT Ive noticed ALOT of the singers from her generation talk alot of crap about the music industry and artists of today and they always lump them with THEIR generation eek I am not sure if they really believe this or are they just saying this for media attention eek

Its quite shocking that Anita would even bring him up..... is she trying to make readers believe she is hip to the new generation or something? neutral

Odd.

And then as soon as we get into these debates about the new artists we have hear this shit about what older artists have said... we have to hear "Oh well Anita likes him or Prince likes him or Aretha likes him etc" when it really doesnt mean shit razz These older singers will say ANYTHING to come off as relevant to what is current lol

Anita is trying too hard to appeal to the media and attract fans. I'm sure she didn't mean to elicit laughter and eye-rolling by celebrating Chris Brown's "brilliance". lol

I agree nod reminds me of a recent Stephanie Mills interview, where she said that she would love to do a song with Lil' Wayne disbelief wtf? Stop it,ladies...please.

Chris Brown's latest is on the rebound.

What looked early on as a likely flop is rocketing back up the charts. After nine weeks on the charts "Fortune" stands at #25 after rocketing from #39.

Latest single "Don't Wake Me Up" is being embraced by pop radio, proof that radio will ALWAYS matter in terms of hits. After debuting high on the strength of strong first weeks sales on iTunes, DWMU slid out of the Hot 100 due to non embracement at radio. Now those early weeks aren't even being counted as the single sits at #27 with a bullet.

Looks like people just can't get enough of Chris Brown.

Any theories?

The X factor?

A smile that makes everything ok?

Sensitive thug persona?

Or just plain-ol' catchy tunes?

Anita Baker is absolutely 100% correct. Chris Brown is a hero! He brought the attention of the mindless Twitterverse to the topics of domestic abuse, anger management, questionable fashion choices and even more questionable choices in tattoos! He should be commended for his public service. He is a shining example of what our young black men should never do in this life or the next!

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
