Tons of great albums are released every year.

My favorite year was probably 1970.. for the final Beatles album, all of their great solo debuts, Yoko Ono's solo debut, The Jackson 5's ABC, Funkadelic's first two albums, The Doors' Morrison Hotel, Miles Davis' Bitches Brew, The Beach Boys' Sunflower, Nick Drake's Bryter Layter, Simon & Garfunkel's Bridge Over Troubled Water, and many others.....

I also agree with 1991..

Prince - Diamonds and Pearls

MJ - Dangerous

Nirvana - Nevermind

RHCP - Blood Sugar Sex Magik

GNR - Use Your Illusion

U2 - Achtung Baby

Pearl Jam - Ten

etc..

While I love those albums myself, its all subjective nod

There are so many factors why 1982 was a great musical year to me, albeit osbscure in comparision to Prince/MJ.
