Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

About time..

I actually like the song, even Chris's part.

I hope Brandy can finally find her niche in today's music world. Wasn't her last major hit in 2002?

She's over and she's been replaced by newer, hotter, and younger models. She might as well throw in the towel and stop releasing major albums because in the end it's HER money that's paying for the losses her label suffers.

I disagree. I would advise her to just make R&b tunes and not gear toward the mainstream pop market. Most of Brandys disography is pretty good and she is a big fanbase. I wouldnt say throw in the towel but just cater to HER fanbase which is mostly adult R&b thats what R. Kelly did and his last album was exactly successful.

lol Stop acting like you're mature when you just took the time out of your day to diss a teenager for no good reason, David. Please find better things to do with your time.

You're right. Brandy's discography IS good, but no matter what she does, it seems the general public ignores her. The fact of the matter is that when her album performs poorly, it's HER responsibility to pay the label back any losses that they suffered. THAT'S what ultimately leads to a lot of artists going bankrupt, they collapse under the pressure of the debt they have to pay. I don't wanna see that happeen to Brandy, or anyone else. The one thing I do admire about her determination is that you see that music is her passion.

Well, R. Kelly is in his early 40s and Brandy is in her early 30s. There is a difference.

I see nothing wrong with Brandy trying to appeal to the younger audience. It's been done for ages. Teens will buy music from 30 year olds.

I think Brandy started in the business too early and peaked too early. By the early 2000s Moesha was cancelled and people had moved on, but what sucked is that she was still very young at the time. But I still think she has another hit or two in her.

Brandy never was a POP star. She has always sung R&B even when she was little and even during the height of her popularity

She has ALWAYS been R&B.

I dont think she has to make pop music just to get played on the radio, thats all Im saying.

POP isnt really her sound so I dont see why she has to switch up now. I dont really care for this song to be honest but she looks great and Ive always loved the braids on her. I just hope she keeps with HER style and doing what SHE enjoys and not focusing on catering to the masses.

I didn't say if she was or wasn't pop.

True, she has always been an r&b singer at heart, but she had a few pop hits. Same with a lot of other artists (R. Kelly, Prince, etc.).

Just watched the video. I still say the best thing about the song is the bridge. That's classic Brandy. The chord change and vocal arrangements on that part sounds good. Other than that, she's trying to win the youth vote.

Video wise, looks like they purposely went back to simulate old images from past videos. She looks the same except for the fact that she grew breast since having the kid. Women are amazing! I love you! lol
