What are the orgs thoughts on John Mayer? As a songwriter, performer, musician, etc. I'm a fan of the man's work and would really like to see him perform live. I kind of feel like I've grown up with him. (I was 16 or so when he first launched with his first hit "No Such Thing," and while I never really appreciated him as a artist, I would enjoy his songs when I'd catch them on the radio or in the background during my day-to-day. This past weekend, I downloaded a few of his albums and I went on a road trip listening to mainly a few of his albums both ways and really enjoyed them. I'm currently listening to his newest album, "Born and Raised" and I like it a lot. While all his songs aren't for me, I enjoy a lot of them. Is this guy the real deal? I've been watching lots of clips of him on YouTube since returning home, and he totally is a very talented musician. That much is apparent. I know he has a stack of Grammys, and his records seem to always debut at #1, so in a pop-music sense - I know he is successful. However, I care more about the man and the music strikes my fellow orgers with this post.
