Stevie Nicks confirms Fleetwood Mac reunion in 2013

Fleetwood Mac Reunion: Stevie Nicks Confirms Group Getting Back Together In 2013

Fleetwood Mac Reunion

Stevie Nicks has confirmed that Fleetwood Mac will get back together in 2013. During a segment on "CBS This Morning," the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman revealed that everyone was on board.

"It's the plan," she added. "Because that's what we do. I do my thing. And Lindsey [Buckingham] is out doing his thing now." Fleetwood Mac's last tour, 2009's “Unleashed,” featured a set of the band's greatest hits.

Nicks also opened up about the recent suicide of Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch. She said she was shocked to learn of his death last month, adding, "I can't even tell you what in the world would have pushed him to do something that crazy."

If you don’t want to wait until 2013 for your Fleetwood fix, a Fleetwood Mac tribute album, featuring artists from MGMT and Karen Elson to The Kills, will be released on August 14. "A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac" is available for pre-order now. You canstream the album on Soundcloud.

THIS! I saw Stevie in concert last week at The Beacon here in New York.

She did 6 songs from her last album! Fucking really? I'm a Stevie stan and I thought that was ridiculous for an album that was not a big hit and came out OVER a year ago.

Stevie, move on. There are great songs you could be doing instead.

As for this FM tour, I will sit out unless it's a real reunion.

Same here! nod I want Christine to be involved,or it's not a "real" reunion as far as I'm concerned.

the big question: will Christine McVie join this reunion?

As much as I loved hearing her songs on past albums by Fleetwood Mac, I think the most she might be willing to do is contribute backing vocals to a track or two in the studio, like she did for the last album. She seems to be thoroughly enjoying her time away out of the spotlight of a tour.

Yeah,I get the feeling that she likes being out of the spotlight, relaxing and doing her own thing.Such a shame, though, because she was such a huge part of Fleetwood Mac.

This tour will need extra semi rigs to carry around all the bags under the performers eyes.

I thought that part of the reason she left was because the spotlight was totally on Stevie and Linsday. She felt like she was in a backing band

And yet look how fans react. We want her. FM wouldn't have been the same without her voice.

I hope she doesn't feel that way. She's a major player in this band. Some of my favorite FM songs are the ones that she wrote and sang.

Cool news. I also attended her show last year and she bored the living pissout of the scrowd with her new flat boring songs. But once she sung her classics that place was jumping!!! She sounded fantastic.

Also, I did not know that Bob Welch killed himself....how tragic.

On the plus side here's hoping for a tour from FM in 2013!

The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Remember there is only one destination and that place is U

Don't hold your breath! I would be shocked if she does return. It would be nice tho. I saw FM when on their last tour. It was worth it, I had a good time.
