Chris Brown just won the Best Male R&B Artist at the 2012 BET Awards. He revealed in his acceptance speech that his next album will be his last??

“I’d like to thank Team Breezy, everybody who worked on any one of my albums,” he said. “My last album that’s coming out in two days. … I just want to thank all my fans. It’s dedicated to y’all. This one’s for y’all, man, I appreciate everything,” he said, blowing fans a kiss.

Is this a PR trick or is this really going to be Chris Brown’s last album???

If he said and meant to say "last" then it's a PR stunt. If it's what errant said, then he needs some more contact lenses.

If this is the case, I will buy his album just to support the last album from one of the great R&B artists of my generation.

I haven't liked his music in years. Coincidentally since 2009, his music bored me.

hes saying it because everyone likes to say that now, its a IN THING to retire and then come-back especially when you have a bad image, slumping sales, or whatever going against you, but sorry Chris, you got everything you asked for, i can cut him slack on people being up his ass about things PRIOR to rihanna, but once that happend, he asked for it, going on Hot 97 and joking about hitting a "woman" with FunkMaster Flexx another FOOL that needs to retire his fat ass already. And then the list goes on, we can all name about 25 things Chris has done that is ignorant and stupid, homophobic, whatever he did it and cried about having to face the music and the wrath of the media he uses everyday to his advantage

I commented last night in the EBT Awards thread, that I heard him say, "Last..."

Nah I was just messing about Rebirth... but if Lil Wayne comes out with trash like Carter IV (How you gonna have only one good track on your album, brah? ) again then maybe he needs to step down a lil bit quicker.

It goes hard erry'where when you in the club or you in the living room, when you playing Madden or when you washing carrots in the kitchen sink. That song is beast. He needs more of those.
