I'm certainly not gonna defend the idiotic Chris Brown, but I also think Drake is proving himself to be a trifling punk! Just to remind people, he already was in a feud with Common, they traded diss tracks and THEN got into a backstage fight at this year's Grammys, and allegedly part of the beef was over Serena Williams. I doubt anyone is afraid of Drake lol He better not mess with the person in the future...

.

I believe that whole backstage fight story was fabricated. That's certainly not Com's style, even though he was wack for even getting into that mess with Drake. He lost a lot of points for that and it showed in the numbers for his latest album, which was excellent I must say. disbelief [Edited 6/14/12 19:55pm]

Oh for real? So it wasn't real? I don't get it, he got a legend on his album and yet he's beefing with another lol over Serena's badonkadonk. lol

No it wasn't. I think it was all squashed at an NBA game they were at. Just stupid. I think the interesting part about that was their albums came out near the Christmas season last year...go figure! lol

I don't know why Common like to release albums in December. He did it with

Electric Circus and Universal Mind Control(DOA) and with the latest one as well.

December is usually not a good time to release an album.

nod It works for some people because they get that holiday revenue, but not all of the time. His latest album would've been perfect to release right now, during the summer. Now the momentum is gone. Common is weird when he's doing stuff like that because it seems like he promotes an album for a limited period of time and then... confuse When Be and Finding Forever came out, it seemed like he was on those albums forever...possibly because they came out at the right time.

I think either my age is showing or my lack of humor but I HATED this video when I saw it and I only saw it just recently. It irks me in every way possible:

Take that D?

Two minutes?

Stretching?

Maybe it's just TOO obvious.

There's a certain line from the Chappelle's Show Rick James skit about African Americans and currency that I think applies to this situation.

This is a damn mess. At 25 and 23 they shouldn't be fighting, I don't care if its over a girl or if someon felt "disrespected." This is why I can't fucking stand this "thug" culture that black men feel they have to adhere to. I blame Hip Hop. lol

Drake and Chris Brown some fuck boys anyway. Drake is the bottom bitch. I bet Chris goes balls deep in that ass every chance he gets. lol

Well anytime someone wants to beat up chris/throws a bottle at him/sends one of his crew members to the hospital. ..it's a good day overall. bored2 wink

The sad thing is these people NEED to have this type of drama display in public because they know their music isn't good enough to keep interest. Chris drama is the only reason he's still some what relevant imo .. yeah he got his little hits but no where near the popularity he once was. His career at a slow death. When 2013 get's closer I don't want to hear no more about Chris and Rihanna .. they are so tired smh.

I don't think it's fair to blame hip-hop or "thug culture", because Kid Rock and Tommy Lee were fighting at an Award's Show over Pamela Anderson.

And those two were much older than 25 and 23 years old.

CHRIS BROWN FIGHT
Flying Bottle Cracks
Innocent Girl's Head Open

EXCLUSIVE
0614_chris_brown_bystander_launch_v3
An innocent female clubgoer was gushing blood last night ... after she was struck by a flying bottle in the middle of the Chris Brown nightclub brawl ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ spoke with Hollie C. -- a 24-year-old Australian tourist who went to club W.i.P. Wednesday night with some friends.

Hollie tells us she was hanging out and having a good time when the brawl exploded between Brown's entourage and Drake's entourage.

Hollie tells us, "Within a few moments of noticing glass being thrown around, I saw a glass bottle headed towards me; consequently hitting me in the head."

"I immediately started to bleed and proceeded to fall in and out of consciousness..."

disbelief

Ohhhhhhhh snap! Chris thinks folks clowned when that Rhianna picture surfaced. He ain't seen shit yet! disbelief

Actually, both Drake AND Chris will definitely get slapped with lawsults by innocent bystanders real soon.

I don't blame hip-hop culture at all. Number one, hip-hop is not even part of Black culture nor is it a form of Black artistic expression. Hip-hop was largely built on unifying the urban communities across America. It was a party, but as time progressed, folks used it as a form of rebellion in the right ways and wrong ways. The problem lies in what is going on in the household and family structure and in this matter, what celebrities are subjecting themselves into. Sorry, we can't easily blame hip-hop or any form of entertainment/media...

You have a point I suppose.

But Hip Hop still promotes violence I would say more than any other (popular) genre of music.

The culture is not the reason folks get violent. Besides hip-hop always had a positive undercurrent shared by all races. This is just buffoonery.

Better yet....why is it so easy to blame music. What about films, television, newspapers, radio, and everything else? We have got to look at the entire history of entertainment and propaganda and connect the dots.
