yeah,I was wondering if this is the 'real' WAR (now known as the LowRider Band) or the fake War band that Lonnie Jordan is touring with.

This diehard WAR fan will attest that the "WAR" band that is coming to the Soul Food Music Festival and who have been burning WAR fan minds for almost twenty years now, are NOT the ORIGINAL artists of WAR, with the exception of one. The most original WAR, with four original surviving artists of WAR, Howard Scott, Harold Brown, BB Dickerson, Lee Oskar have to call themselves the LOWRIDER BAND today because their WAR name was stolen from them in federal court by a conniving producer and these original WAR artists did not bow down to being owned by this producer. They are not "allowed" to use the WAR name that they made famous in reference to themselves, or this producer will sue their asses if they do. Until Lonnie Jordan can get it together and re-unite with his WAR brothers of the LOWRIDER BAND, there is only one WAR band you should be giving your WAR propers to while they are still here to get their way overdue respect, and that's the WAR OG's of the LOWRIDER BAND. When you promote fake ass "WAR" you are lining the pockets of this greedy producer and forgetting the original artists who made that WAR name and music famous in the first place. Respect to the memory of Sylvester "Papa Dee" Allen and Charles Miller, OG WAR members, who have passed on and don't have to deal with this BS created by corporate greed. Respect originality and integrity WAR fans!

^^ Exactly!! I have seen Lonnie Jordan and his 'fake' War band before and it's just not the same.I'd rather support the *ORIGINAL* members,now known as the LowRider Band.They're the ones who will be getting my money.

SoulAlive, I couldn't agree with you more. Lonnie Jordon and the other orriginal members should reunite under another name and with that they will get the fan appreciation they truly deserve. Each one of the orriginal members played an intrical part in creating the "War" sound.
