I would have loved to hear Klymaxx do a version of this with Bernadette Cooper doing some type of rap on the track.

A very effective use of the call and response type of chorus.
In a perfect world, this tune would have helped Cherrelle progress much closer to the type of pop culture sex symbol status, and success, that Madonna and Janet Jackson attained.
Her music is still classic for its era.
I am glad I used to listen to it when it was brand new.
