I don't. Not a fan, never have been-he's too chitlins for me and ordinarily, I don't mind anything that country. Plus, he beat on women...

I don't. I never thought he could sing. But I love his style/vibe/etc. I'm still willing to give him a chance...

James has CD's? I thought he was a sportscaster. I know Terry Bradshaw released a country album in the 1970's though. razz

But I've occasionally THOUGHT about buying one of his albums... does that let me off the hook??
Problem is he's done a lot & I wouldn't know where to start with him.

Unless they have the records, they don't, because many of them never have made it to CD and have been out of print all this time.

Imposible, unless you bought them when they were originally released.

He released 9 albums alone in 1968 (not comps, all original material or live album.)

I bought Hell a while back, thinking he must have some good 70s stuff - I hate it. I really can't stand any of his slowed down deep funk stuff - it's boring as ..well, hell. neutral

But Sex Machine and earlier - now that stuff jams.

One of my FAVE songs from him,,,,

He took a BIG chunk out of that Louisiana funk and put it on his pots & pans.

Me! I don't own any of his albums but just recently I was thinking of getting the one he made with Full Force in the late 80s. I love the song Static. I love Full Force so i'm curious about that album. Anyone know if it's good?

No I won't.

It's not happened in 27 years, it's not going to happen eventually.

I don't. It's not that I wouldn't have listened to his albums, but I've just never felt the need to buy them. It's the type of stuff that you can always get from the libraries over here.
