Bjork videos more artistic, but mostly bizarre ... eek
I can.t tell who has the best video collection of the two ladies, but I prefer the videos of Madonna as a whole.

Madonna has some nice one's but my vote is for Björk all the way.

She has the best videos of any musician ever.

If you will, so will I

In all honesty no one comes anywhere near Bjorks videos in terms of quality and creativity.

Change it one more time..

I like the videos by both of them very much. Two of the top video artists of all time, IMO.

However, it's clear that Madonna is no longer interested in making her videos into art. It's been a long time.

And Bjork basically just puts together fancy screen-savers for most of hers any more.

I was disappointed with the video for "Crystalline". I haven't seen any after that one. "Wanderlust" was the last video I thought was great.

yeah, crystalline was a bit dull. but then I watched gondry's first movie "the science of sleep",

with charlotte gainsbourg and I was in heaven again. The man is just a genius. period.

I mean, any man that makes me want to knit a horse has some amazing cinematographical

as far as madonna's video's go. they're a part of modern culture, basically.

at least up until and including ray of light.

after that she became a bit hit and miss with some boring and too easy or

just plain boring stuff.

but most of her video's up to that point are just amazing.

the "frozen" video is still one of my favorit video's of all time. it just never

ages. it's otherworldly and was years ahead of it's time (at least as far as

mainstream video's go).

i think her 'erotica' era is largely overlooked too. the album as well as the

video's. but i like them a lot. they have that certain atmosphere that was

a large part of prince's video's and vibe too. a bit cheap, a bit dark, lots of

sexyness and a side dish of camp.

except for the "rain" video which is just awesomeness all over in all of it's

simplicity and stunning visuals.

I just found out there is a volume 2 DVD of Michel Gondry's music videos. I have to get that one.

I didnt like it much either the first time I saw it. But putting the album in context and all the weird apps developed for it and the other video for Moon, it kinda makes sense. And its still so 1000% something I'd expect from Gondry, its only Bjork who's become a secondary object. The crystalization is the central object. Everything about this phase is more abstract than usual.

Change it one more time..

Admittedly, I have not grasped Björk's new project in all the ways that she has provided. I've read that an amazing sense of fulfillment can be achieved when you totally immerse yourself in all of it.
