Yes, she has her PR team make sure to compare her to Michael Jackson or one of her live performances to one of Michael's live performances...she definitely wants to BE the female MJ, or at least thought of as the female MJ so she makes sure to get as many MJ comparisons in her press releases as she can. I dont think anyone seriously thinks of her as this generation's female Michael Jackson...except for maybe some of her delusional stans

I can understand why she wants to be the most popular and celebrated, but that kind of thinking really eats up your ego in the end and it's better to be yourself, though the way she used to act about MJ in the DC days in interviews or throw in stuff about him in interviews later on reminded me of myself. I do like Beyonce a lot (and Jay Z) and have a couple of her albums, but I don't own all of them and don't want to, plus I'm aware there are better female vocalists from her time too that don't get enough credit. And those people in her age group loved MJ and Whitney just as she does, but they weren't trying to be someone they weren't. Brandy was just Brandy, same with Monica and so forth.
