Maybe Sheila was only referring to Madonna outdoing everyone who shared the stage with her last night...idk [kanye shrug]

Nah, she said everyone who had been on the SB before her. wink It didn't sound like she said she was better than all those who were onstage with her. Although that doesn't really say much...

Oh well....She's entitled to her opinion like everyone else. I don't agree with her but hey, I left for snacks when Mike went into "Heal The World" too, so what do I know....lol

For what it was, it was okay. A big spectacle, and I liked it more than last year (which granted, I hated!)

I might have preferred different songs, though. And if she had at least sounded live, even if she was not live, it would have been a little more exciting. Cee Lo sounded live, why didn't Madonna?

Hmm, NBC just said this:

HALFTIME SHOW FEATURING MADONNA IS MOST-WATCHED EVER: The halftime performance by Madonna (8-8:30), was seen by 114.0 million viewers, nearly four million more than last year’s performance featuring the Black Eyed Peas (110.3 million), and is the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show featuring entertainment ever (dating back to 1991).

The halftime viewership 18.3 million more than NBC’s last Super Bowl with Bruce Springsteen (95.7 million).

The halftime show earned a 47.4 household rating, six percent higher than last year (44.7/68) and is the highest-rated halftime show featuring entertainment ever.

Madonna’s Halftime Show Was Most Popular Part of the Super Bowl

According to preliminary ratings reports, the most popular part of yesterday's Super Bowl broadcast was that crazy Cleopatra-goes-to-church-with-a-drumline-and-Japanese-schoolgirls concoction that Madonna performed in the middle. The game itself didn't rank higher than last year's record setting game, but it came close.

Madonna's 10-minute halftime spectacle averaged a 48.3 rating while the game itself averaged a 47.8 rating. Last year's game had a 47.9 rating, which translates to 111 million viewers and was the highest rated game in history. This year's is slightly down (but not by much) and is the third highest rated game. But still, Madonna beats all of that. Looks like, for some people, Madge is a bigger draw than a silly sporting event.

Speaking of people who don't care about the game, it looks like the coveted post-Super Bowl television slot worked out better for NBC's singing competition The Voice this year than it did for the worst ever episode of Glee after the Super Bowl last year. Christian Aguillera snubbing her former castmates on the Mickey Mouse Club and Cee-Lo Green searching for something—anything—to wear that is tasteful garnered the show a 19.4 rating, up 27% from the numbers teens singing "Thriller" did last year.

Cool, thanks! I never trust that shit... I would be nice to see how everyone stacks up in comparison to viewership. Not necessarily just the halftime shows but the game in general.

Wow! eek You really love her a lot a lot more than him. lol

MJ was more talented dancer, singer and songwriter.
Madonna is more talented than he was in what directions?? I'm really interested ... cool I can say that she is more smart and better manages her career, but it's not what I personally think the talent.

I think Madonna is more interesting, she more creative than MJ imo, she reinvents herself more than MJ ever did. Madonna is able to stay relevant and interesting... So I think she is more creative, let's just say that.... biggrin Madonna is also a songwriter, producer, director, dancer, etc. She has a lot of input in her work, her shows, her songs, etc. And even directing movies!

So yeah, I think Madonna is more creative than MJ... that's just my option. MJ is amazing too of course, but he is not really as interesting/creative... just my option

eek

Being creative is a thing , and re-inventing yourself is another thing !

To say that madonna is more creative than MJ is JOKE and a good laugh !
