Sony's Triple feature album collections?

Anyone one on these collections from artist?

I have a Luther Vandross set and Earth, Wind and Fire set.

How many artist are featured in these colelctions? I've seen the Jacksons and Mariah Carey.

I'm gonna have to think about that.

Prince's album - "Emancipation" was a triple feature right?

Oh,

George Harrison - "All Things Must Pass" was a triple feature.

but I don't recall anymore...

Sorry, should have been more clear. Epic Legacy has a collection where it puts three of an artist albums in one set at a low price.

For example, I purchased a Luther set that features (Give Me The Reason: Never Let Me Go: Power of Love.)

I brought one on The Jacksons back in 2009, when Destiny and Triumph were remastered. Great valued collections!

I do not know if these are all of them but if you go to amazon and do a search for "triple feature" this is what comes up:

http://www.amazon.com/s/r...1328347055

Looks like there are loads of them.

I usually try to shy away from these types of releases as I like having the original booklets but I did pick up The Isley Brothers (Live It Up, The Heat Is On, Harvest for the World) and The O'Jays (Backstabbers, Survival, Family Reunion).

These are a terrific value as are the Original Album Series and Original Album Classics collections, especially if you just want the music and are not interested in the packaging.

I hate these things. THey took away the integrity of the album to me. Luther (especially) had some really nice album packages and to reduce them down to nothing is just sad. I refuse to buy these.

Do they use single edits like Motown was doing back in the day when they were reissuing a lot of their back catalog as twofers? Or are they full-length album versions of every song?

Full legth album versions. They are recent remastered eleases just no booklet for each album. For example, the EWF set I have, each disc comes with bonus cuts I know weren't on the original 70s LP versions.
