DMX Being Sued Over Failed Comeback Tour

DMX's legal troubles have given him more legal troubles. A booking agency is suing the rapper, claiming that his problems with the law sank their plans for an international tour. DMX's manager Jason, however, says that his client cut all ties with the company, Heavy Rotation, because of some bad business practices.

Still, the agency claims that it had inked an exclusive one-year deal with DMX in 2011 to book his concerts. The contract was signed in 2011, presumably after DMX was released from an Arizona prison in July 2011.

Just over a month after being freed, DMX found himself in hot water again when police arrested him for speeding. Heavy Rotation blames that incident, plus a pair of child support disputes, for the lien that was placed on DMX's passport -- keeping him from touring outside the U.S.

Heavy Rotation claims it forked over nearly $100,000 to pay off bail, child support and other legal bills for DMX in hopes of clearing the way for him to travel overseas.

According to reports, DMX continued to get into trouble, and he even hired another set of managers to set up his shows in the U.S. That move is said to have violated his contract with Heavy Rotation.

The company claims it lost $749,285 in its deal with DMX, and wants to be reimbursed.

DMX has got issues more worrisome than lawsuits. An Arizona judge had him transferred to a mental health unit 2 years ago, after determining he had a previously undiagnosed mental illness.

Yep. And his penchant for barking like a dog should have been a red flag.

I read a while ago where he admitted to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I wonder what else he has???

The disease called dumbassedness. After seeing him act a complete utter fool on "Couples Therapy", I'm convinced that he still has issues that he REFUSES to deal with and as a result, is a total asshole. You can barely understand what the hell he's saying most of the time because he talks in the same way he raps. I need closed caption to understand what the hell he's saying but then I still regret it because he so damn disrespectful. I was always a fan of his but now, after seeing that, I could really give a fuck about him anymore. shrug

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I also recall reading in that same article that he doesn't take his meds like he's supposed to. So, that could be the reason why you can''t understand what he's saying most of the time. biggrin Bi-polars who are not taking their medications definately can come across as assholes.

I hope he pulls himself together. He's one of the very few rappers who came along within the past 15 years that I actually thought had some unabashed talent.
