Thank you, and glad to talk it up. I think Ray finally found what he was searching for.

I've always liked Raphael's voice. clean. pure. seemingly effortless.

I liked his vibe in T!T!T!.. he "made" their best songs

("feels good" "thinking of you" & a few others..)

you could tell then he was really going to "go retro" as his time in that band wore down.

overall I like his "retro vibe"

(for LACK of a better expression)

but I liked it more when he was "in the 70's - e.g. "Ray Ray" in 2004

he went "even further back" on the subsequent releases.

I don't dig those as much, but he's shown he can do that style well too.

I too think he's really found his stride here.

I've slept on this guy too long. Been playing him a lot lately at work.

Even though I've loved Raphael since 3T, I've yet to see him live!!!! I know he has a concert date with Lenny at the end of this month in NYC, but I can't go to that!
