'How I Do' was one of the best releases from the past decade.

Great debut, and from what I heard, her second album was just as good.

Just to chime in:

Res has put out other work besides "how i do", which was a fantastic debut.

She released the internet only "black.girls.rock" a year or so back and she also collaborated with Talib Kweli for an album callled "Idle Warship".

I personally am lusting for her cover of 3 dog night's "One". It was on her myspace a few years ago and it was sooo haunting and beautiful.

Very talented Philly gal with a great stage presence. She's the real deal, no wonder she seemingly gets no play these days.

Res was an awesome find back around 2001 when this CD came out and this entire CD is simply stellar!!!

Unfortunately, she has not been able to top it which is too bad

Great find! I think she has such a distinctive voice and that guitar on "one" sounds wicked as well.

The link to that cover of Donna Summer's ON THE RADIO is fantastic as well!!!
