Oh yes!. This CD, "Back On The Right Track" and "Ain't But The One Way" are slammin'.
Sly still had it going on (musically speaking) after his heyday. | |

As good as it is, it was a familiar formula back then, unlike previous releases which were trail blazers. But i don't think he lost it musically at all and these aren't bad albums just because they follow formula, it's just he didn't get back on the right track as he thought he did. Nice horns though. Back On The Right Track is a CD that WB, IMO, didn't market very well, and to be honest, it was probably the last 'significant ' CD he has done since. There a a lot of good songs on it as well. In those days without a strong single, a CD was hard to promote. | |
