Miles Davis - Black Satin

Who ever thought that Miles could cook up some gutter, stanky funk like this? He turned the sucker outside, inward, outward, inside and otherwise on this one. Folks need to wake up and recognize! music

Looks like a nice Pro-Ject Debut III turntable.

I think it's less about whether he could but whether he would.
Especially to folks that wanted him stay with his 60s style.

Really, you could see this coming after Bitches Brew.
It was only a matter time before something like On The Corner would appear.

Spot on theAudience! Miles was gonna do what he wanted to do musically, but in actuality, I think he made more of a mark on On The Corner than Bitches Brew. He basically flipped everything on its head with that album, whereas Bitches Brew kind've played with the notion of Miles needing to nod around with new sounds he explored on previous works after the quintet years. I hate when On The Corner gets bashed because I don't like it to be considered jazz-funk or fusion or experimental music.
