A Couple of Kool tracks from R&B/alternative singer songwriter Emily King EP, "Seven" - produced by Jeremy Most (J Most)...
Born in New York in 1986, singer/songwriter Emily King grew up surrounded by music, as her parents are jazz vocalists Marion Cowings and Kim Kalesti. In 2002, the 16-year-old decided to concentrate full-time on her singing career; King left school to pursue her music career. She began playing shows in restaurants and venues around New York City including CBGB'S and The Bitter End. at that time , she also began touring with John Legend and Floetry. She also opened for various artists such as Nas, Alicia Keys, Chaka Khan and Erykah Badu. After parting ways with her label, King continues her work independently. Her sophomore EP, entitled Seven, was released in July....

Emily is a fantastic artist. She does a collab with Lupe Fiasco.
Emily's Mom Kim Kalesti has been a guest on our radio show. Great person and talented artist too.
