this was the time when I became a hardcore janet fan. I have so many great memories to the Velvet Rope. I miss the late 90s and I would hope janet could do another albums similar to this if not similar to the AFY.

i just realized why janet stop working with JJ and TL, because she didn't want to feel like she needed them for a successful career.

Genius album. Sums up Janet's career perfectly...and it hasn't even ended!! Genius just a dark masterpiece woven perfectly. Go Deep, Velvet Rope, What About, I Get Lonely amongst others rank as some of her best songs to date. I've been jamming all week....even before I found out about the anniversary!!
