The first song you ever slow danced too

You remember your highschool dance, you know the one where you got to slow dance with that guy/girl you were crushing so hard on. Did that song stick with you?

Ever since my junior prom I can't hear this song without getting butterflies from the memory.

We used to have afternoon dances in Jr. High. I can't remember for sure but it was probably something from Zapp, like "I Wanna Be Your Man" or something like that. Whatever contemporary R&B hit was playing on "Quiet Storm" radio formats at the time would likely have been it. Shame I can't remember for the life of me, because those dances were fun as hell, just like Coke & Pizza parties cloud9

I do. It was Simply Red and their molestation of "If You Don't Know Me By Now." That would have been around 1990. I didn't really hear the original until maybe 1995/1996. With Teddy Pendergrass' vocals it sounded like a completely different song!

Mmm, Cindy, she was a sweet, sweet girl. Broke my heart into teeny, tiny pieces.

Darn you, RKFCNE, you went and ripped open some old wounds!

"Sexual Healing" I'd rather not explain how or why that song was playing. But I'll tell you I was born way after Marvin died

It wasn't a high school related moment. It was a first love moment.

No, she definitely did not get fat but years later I learned that she was a lesbian. I can't compete with that!
