Behold She is Coming Soon! Madonna New Album Set for Spring 2012

Madonna Confirms New Album For Spring Release…

As we’re all patiently awaiting the Queen of Pop’s return to the music scene… All kinds of news/rumors are popping up about Madonna’s forthcoming album that are getting me more and more excited for the project. In a recent promotional press interview for her new movie W.E., Madonna officially confirmed that she is in fact working with William Orbit on the new album and also mentioned that we can expect a spring release with a new single due in February or March! Martin Solveig is supposedly still on board for the new album and apparently song-writer Jean Baptiste Kouame has has also been added to the roster! I’m a huge fan of Jean’s work and I think he’s a wonderful fit for Madge. Here is a short discography of who Jean has written for recently:

The Black Eyed Peas – The E.N.D.
“Rock That Body”
“Meet Me Halfway”
“Alive”
“Missing You”

Kid Cudi – Man on the Moon: The End of Day
“Heart of a Lion (Kid Cudi Theme Music)”

Blake Lewis – Heartbreak on Vinyl
“Left My Baby for You”

Kid Sister – Ultraviolet
“Daydreaming”

Rihanna – Rated R
“Photographs”

Kelis – Flesh Tone
“Intro”
“22nd Century”
“4th of July (Fireworks)”
“Home”
“Acapella”
“Scream”
“Emancipate”
“Brave”
“Song for the Baby”

Cheryl Cole – Messy Little Raindrops
“Raindrops”
“Waiting”

N-Dubz – Love.Live.Life
“Love.Live.Life
“Morning Star”

Jennifer Lopez – Love?
“What Is Love? (Part II)”

Kerli – Army of Love (single)
“Army of Love”

Chris Brown – “FAME (Chris Brown Album)’
“Beautiful People”

Also, U.S. Weekly is reporting that Madonna has nabbed yet another producer for her album… An unknown named Hardy “Indiigo” Muanza. He apparently DJed at M’s birthday party this year in New York, and is managing her dancer boyfriend. We’ll see if this pans out to be true or not but some of Madonna’s most critically acclaimed work has come from then-unknown producers so this could be exciting news if it’s true.

All in all… I think this new project is sounding more and more exciting. I’m just ecstatic that the true Queen of Pop is making her triumphant return to the music scene so she can put everyone else in their rightful place…

when I first heard the early rumors,I wasn't too excited. But if she's using the same producer/songwriter who worked on the Black Eyed Peas' The E.N.D.,I am thrilled lol I freakin' love that record! When I first heard "Rock That Body" and "Meet Me Halfway",I thought of Madonna. That's exactly the kind of sound that she needs.

Video: Hear A New Track By Madonna's Producer

Friday – Sep

Friday – September 02, 2011 – 9:50am

Summer may now be coming to a close, but there's still time for one more hot jam! In her video for "Cool Love," newcomer Indigo Charlie recounts a summer fling to a hot beat designed by another Indigo, producer Hardy "Indiigo" Muanza. Yes, that's the same guy who DJ'd Madonna's private birthday party in NYC on Aug. 14, 2011 and is also working with the Material Girl on her next top-secret album. (Coincidentally, he’s also managing Madge's new boytoy, breakdancer Brahim Zaibat, as well as her dancer and choreographer Shay Normann).

"It was truly delicious working with Hardy Muanza on 'Cool Love!'" Charlie says. "I feel our connection is cosmic and we were drawn together musically in a divine way. We had to link up -- I am Indigo and they are The Indigos. How special is that? I look forward to the new songs we are creating together and continuing to surround myself with a creative and nurturing team."

Not sure about all of these rumors, but here's a rundown on what's been reported on fansites....

After having revealed the Madonna/Martin Solveig collaboration, Madonnarama just got some new exclusive info on Madonna’s current recording sessions for the upcoming album.

Like we confirmed a few weeks ago, William Orbit is one of the producers of the album. Joining the William Orbit-team is songwriter and record producer Jean Baptiste Kouame who co-produces WØ tracks. Jean-Baptiste worked with plenty of big names including Kelis, Kid Cudi, Rihanna and Macy Gray.

During the “Ray of Light” and “Music” sessions, the wait between different recordings did take quite a while, because Madonna recorded all the demos before they could be reworked.
To be more efficient this time and avoid long waiting times between takes, William Orbit is using Charlene Ava as a demo vocalist. This way the creative process isn’t interrupted and multiple demos with Ava’s vocals are sent to Madonna, so she can make a selection without having to sing every single demo herself.
The background vocals might also include Charlene Ava’s voice, alongside Nicki Richards, Donna DeLory and Orbit, but nothing has been decided yet.

Photographer Kevin Westenberg, who has shot plenty of celebrities and even Madonna backstage at Live8, has recently been working with William Orbit. He did take some studio pictures of the recording sessions that might be used in the future.

Finally there seems to be a lot of confusion about the W.E. soundtrack, and we would like to remind you that William Orbit’s music is not used at all in Madonna’s second directorial effort. The whole soundtrack has been composed by the amazing Abel Korzeniowski.

Stay tuned for more infos about Madonna’s new album…
While many websites and forums might reproduce this news, remember you read it first at Madonnarama.com!

"According to the latest rumour, Madonna's new album is titled 'Around the World' and will be released in January 2012.

Rumour has it that the lead single, alledgedly called "All Around the World", will be sent to radios in October, with the video premiere scheduled to coincide with the Smirnoff party on 12 November.

Other rumoured songs are "Way Back Home" (a ballad), "Free" (uptempo dance) and "Natural Perfection" (a song in the style of "Nobody's Perfect").

and:

"The user who originally posted the above info in the Tribe forum has now added another song title, "Modern Confusion" - apparently, it's a song reminiscent of "Bedtime Story".

He has also said that the release is now tentatively scheduled for late January/early February (which would be only a few weeks before M starts rehearsing for the tour).

Finally, he indicates that the lead single off the new album will be used in TV ads for iPhone 5 , which is heavily rumoured to be released in the first half of October."

Madonna Fans Rejoice: New Album Due in Spring 2012

by Keith Caulfield, L.A. | September 03, 2011 10:09 EDT

Madonna's 12th studio album will be released in the spring of 2012, with its first single due out in February or March.

The diva announced the news herself in an interview with Sweden's Sveriges Television (SVT) in Venice, Italy. Madonna is there to promote her film "W.E.," which premiered out of competition at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday, Sept. 1.

Madonna says that she's "started a little bit of work in the studio" for the forthcoming album and will continue recording in "New York, until the end of the year" when she returns to the United States. The entertainer began working on the album officially on July 4, as confirmed by her manager Guy Oseary, via a tweet. That day marked her "1st day in the recording studio for the new album."

She also didn't correct the interviewer when he mentioned how she was re-teaming with producer William Orbit, which would seem to indicate a confirmation of their collaboration. Orbit co-produced and co-wrote the bulk of Madonna's 1998 album "Ray of Light." The set debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, has sold 3.9 million copies in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan and won the Grammy Award for best pop album.

The as-yet-untitled new album will be her first studio release after leaving Warner Bros. Records and entering into an all-encompassing deal with Live Nation. Her final Warner Bros. studio set, "Hard Candy," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and has sold 739,000 in the U.S. It spawned the hit single, "4 Minutes," featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

From Madonnarama

Once again Madonnarama can reveal some new exclusive information on Madonna’s upcoming album. We would also like to clarify the previous details we posted, because it seems that some of it has been misinterpreted.

Madonna and her production teams have been working on the next album – her first with Live Nation as a record company – for a few months now.
Their goal: Create some killer innovative electro-pop!

WHAT WE CAN EXPECT…

The Sound: A modern and mostly upbeat sound. The blend of electronica informed by ethnic influences such as oriental music will be compelling as well as memorable. Each song is expected to be catchy, powerful with a fantastic selection of trippy and hazy electronica tingles. After all, William Orbit, responsible for Madonna’s impeccable Ray Of Light as well as some of Music, is all about the subtle little details that make his work quite unique.

The Lyrics: Madonna has been working on those for quite awhile. We can expect some personal lyrical content, as well as the “fun and dancing” recurrent theme. William Orbit also co-wrote a few tracks and we all know how consistent and funny our favorite Englishman can be.

HOW IT WORKS…

Basically, Madonna’s working on this album the same way she did with Ray of Light and Music…

1. She gets a basic instrumental demo from a composer or producer… Sometimes, the producer uses a demo vocalist to give more coherence to the instrumental, turning it into what could be a song.

2. Madonna starts to imagine melodies that could go with the instrumental demo (humming on the music) and starts writing ideas for the lyrics.

3. She then discusses the instrumental with the producer/composer and the structural changes she’d like to add or remove.

4. Once both Madonna and the producer are on the same page, she starts writing the lyrics, sometimes with the help from others for inspiration. For this particular album, William Orbit is also co-writing the lyrics with Madonna, as he did on ROL and Music.

5. Once the lyrics are finished, they meet up in a professional studio, so they can forge ahead with recording the instrumental version in a professional setting. Finally, the vocals are recorded.

6. Madonna might later decide to make some small changes after getting feedback from her record company, friends, manager or other musicians.

Right now, she’s between the 4th and 5th stage of this process.

THE DEMO VOCALIST…

Charlene Ava was involved in the very first stages of the creation of the album. Most of her work took place in July and early August during the early pre-production stage. Using a demo vocalist, like all big producers and artists do, has absolutely no influence on Madonna’s involvment. It’s just the opposite: all the different versions of the same song mean that Madonna is willling to try a lot of different directions.

JEAN BAPTISTE…

In our last post, we also mentioned Jean Baptiste Kouamé.
As we clearly stated, Jean Baptiste is not working as an independant producer for the album. He was recuited by William Orbit and works closely with his production team to develop Madonna’s new music.

Stay tuned for more infos about Madonna’s new album…

NEW MADONNA INTERVIEW---from 'Mail Online' by Baz Bamigboye

Madonna's secret to relationship success: 'As I get older I'm learning how to keep a man... compromise!'

By Baz Bamigboye

Last updated at 11:39 PM on 8th September 2011

This isn’t a bad way to spend an afternoon — skimming across the blue Venice lagoon in a motor launch, the bright sun reflecting on the waves, the majestic buildings shimmering in the heat . . .
Oh, and having Madonna — in a stunning Dolce & Gabbana little black dress — waving a black silk fan to keep me cool.
I soon discover she’s in a reflective mood — and willing to be unusually candid in what, these days, is a rare interview.
She tells me that everything she has now — a family, a career and a young lover — has come at a price.
I ask her if it really is possible to have all three.
‘You can — but what you can’t then expect is a good night’s sleep,’ she says with a wry smile.
‘I have all three; love, children and work. Lucky me.’
This is the real Madonna. The Madonna that few people see. The Madonna who keeps her thoughts fiercely private — until we find ourselves sharing an airless cabin on the Grand Canal at the Venice Film Festival.
Madonna, it seems, was so afraid of being lonely in middle age that it took two divorces and a string of break-ups before she learnt the art of compromising with the men in her life.
‘The older I get, the more I understand about the nature of relationships and how to have a successful one,’ she says.
‘The more I realise that it has to do with compromise and sacrifice and that’s just the way it goes. And unless you want to be alone for the rest of your life you have to realise that.’
Madonna, who is very much a ‘couple’ with dancer boyfriend Brahim Zaibat, acknowledges that having it all can’t be taken for granted.
‘Either the kids aren’t going to be getting all your attention, or the man isn’t or the job isn’t and I can’t contemplate living without all three.
'I can’t imagine not having children. I can’t imagine not being in love and I can’t imagine not being creative and doing the work I do.
'You can’t always get what you want, but compromise pays off in the end, right? Give up a little bit here to see if you can get something there. It’s about trade-offs and give and take.’
This, from a woman who has been at the top of her game for 30 years — having sold 275 million records — and has a reputation for taking no prisoners.
But isn’t she used to getting her own way? All the time?
She shifts and moves close to me. ‘Madonna has to beg sometimes,’ she says. ‘Madonna doesn’t get everything she wants.’
Yeah, right, I think.
To prove her point, she tells me what happened when she was shooting a scene for her big new feature film W.E., about Wallis Simpson, the twice-married American socialite for whom King Edward VIII gave up the throne.

Madonna’s movie has two leading ladies, Andrea Riseborough, portraying Mrs Simpson, who was to become the Duchess of Windsor, and Abbie Cornish who plays Wally Winthrop, a modern-day, unhappily married New Yorker whose storyline runs as a counterpoint reaction to what happens in the Duchess’s life.
Madonna explains how she was shooting in New York’s Central Park and was just about to shout ‘Action’ when a band started up

The film had paid to use the park, so Madonna asked if the band’s soundcheck could be delayed. ‘I really had to beg,’ she tells me.
Madonna had to beg! I exclaimed incredulously.
There is an emphatic wave of the black fan. ‘Yes, absolutely.’
W.E. received a ten-minute standing ovation following its world premiere in Venice, but by then the film had sharply divided film writers.
Some critics gleefully tore it apart; others, like me, found much to praise, although I had some reservations.
In fact, it’s beautifully acted, shot and costumed. Riseborough gives one of the performances of the year as the Duchess, while James D’Arcy portrays the Duke as a blond-haired, frivolous playboy who tries to have a social conscience — but those house parties on the Riviera just got in the way.
Madonna found a surprising fan in director Darren Aronofsky, who directed Black Swan, which won a best actress Oscar for Natalie Portman.
He called the film Madonna-esque, explaining it flowed with a rock ’n’ roll sensibility, and made the point that most period pictures are often static and dull. W.E. goes back and forth across the decades and there’s a dance to the music of time

After the film’s North American gala at the Toronto International Film Festival next Monday night, Madonna might decide to sex up W.E. a tad.
There’s a steamy scene or two between Cornish’s Wally Winthrop and a Russian security guard, played by Oscar Isaac, not ‘R-rated’ Madonna, but ‘sexy’.
The scene was cut, as were others, for movie length reasons. ‘I would like to think that the film is finished, but I did watch it the other night and thought: “Um, maybe it needs a bit of this and a bit of that. Maybe it is still a work in progress,” ’ she tells me.
Then she exclaims, laughing: ‘For God’s sake, I hope it’s over with soon.’
She could screen it for ex-husbands Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie to see if they have any thoughts.
But she won’t be seeking their advice because, in a sense, she has already had it, she says.
‘They didn’t knowingly help me, but certainly I learned by being around them. I mean, they’re both talented film-makers and intelligent human beings, so I think, without knowing it, they gave me advice.
'I was paying attention to what they were doing and watched. I’m a watcher and a learner.’

She explains what she picked up from them. ‘I think Guy’s a very stylish director and he does things with cameras that are unconventional and certainly pushes the envelope in that area — and in terms of visualising things, he’s a ground-breaker.’
Meanwhile, Penn knew about getting to the rawness, the truth of a character.
‘When I was married to Sean, I was amazed at how seriously he took his parts and how far he was willing to go,’ she says.
‘When I was with him I didn’t know I was going to be directing films, obviously. That wisdom I observed and witnessed stayed with me.’
She says she learnt from them, too, the importance of research when directing a movie.
She read any letter she could lay her hands on that was sent to or received by the Duchess and her Duke.
She found ones the Duchess sent to her Aunt Bessie, where she wrote of how she would always have to be with the former King and how she felt incarcerated.
‘Those letters are key to her character,’ says Madonna of the Duchess. ‘To be loved the way she was by the King. What a great act of romance, self-sacrifice.

‘Every girl loves the idea a man would sweep her off her feet, give up everything for her, only to find out that she is self-imprisoned by that love because if a man is willing to give up a kingdom, then you’re going to have to spend the rest of your time together making that man feel like a king, aren’t you?’
Madonna has plans to write and direct another movie, but isn’t ready to divulge what it’ll be about just yet. But a new album will come first.
She’s writing songs and seems determined to have it released next spring — she may tour off the back of it. ‘A girl does have to make a living,’ she declares.

And for that her looks, of course, are an important asset, so she works out and, like many of us, carefully watches what she eats.
She steers clear of certain foods, but has her weaknesses and tries to battle them.
‘I don’t eat as much pizza as everybody else, that’s number one. I exercise even when I’m too bloody tired to.
‘I try to stay away from fried foods, although I had French fries at one o’clock in the morning because that’s all there was to eat, but I would never eat any the next day because I have to pay for those calories somehow. So I also try to stay away from cheese, creamy sauces and I try to eat a lot of fish and vegetables.’
I wonder whether after all her years living in England she has developed a penchant for lovely, stodgy puddings such as Spotted Dick.

‘Sticky toffee pudding with the sauce, obviously, is my weakness. No custard,’ she tells me and, clearly enjoying the food theme, she gaily fans me harder and adds: ‘I like bangers and mash. And mushy peas.’
When she sees the look on my face, she screams: ‘I do! I’m sorry!’ She goes on: ‘I like Bubble and Squeak, not often because it’s fried, but I love it.’
She doesn’t prepare the dishes herself because, she confesses, she doesn’t cook.
‘It’s not in my DNA. My kids all cook really good. I could cook if you put a gun to my head, but after a long day at the office I want to come home and find my dinner on the table,’ she says.
‘Oh, my gosh, everyone prepares it but me. Sometimes my daughter Lourdes likes to cook my food. They all help.’
She back-pedals a bit and boasts she could boil an egg, scramble eggs, cook pasta, make coffee, whip up a round of sandwiches and — get this— concoct Rice Krispie treats.
‘I’m not that hopeless — it’s just that cooking requires time,’ she says, before adding that there was never time to prepare a Sunday lunch for Guy Ritchie, who loves a good Sunday roast. ‘I’m sorry I didn’t, but I could have if I’d put my mind to it.’
And that just about sums up Madonna’s attitude to life: anything she ever wanted to do, she has done — in spades.

Rumor of the week: the new album will have a futuristic theme

Apparently, Madonna is going on a massive photo shoot in November and December in New York, London and Los Angeles. The theme is futuristic and silver. This would tie in with a report sent in to a music magazine suggesting that Madonna wants to commemorate her thirty years in the business as well as recognising her twelfth album. So to do this she is supposedly pretending the era will be set 1000 years in the future and the album may be called, simply: 3012. Quite innovative and clever if proved to be true, but what do you think?
As I said a long time ago, I have a cousin who works for a minor music publication. She spends her day surfing websites, collating emails and researching various leads in order to put together the basis of a story which afterwards a professional journalist then goes and follows it up. She knows I am a big Madonna fan so she has for awhile been listening hard for "rumours" or snippets on my behalf. I am in no way going to reveal her name or who she works for, but yes you're right it is still rumour, but rumours spring from somewhere! Madonna apparently is totally focused on this new album. The sounds the album will contain have already been confirmed. It is not far fetched to suggest that she may already have an idea of what the concept might be. She will not revisit a past image, but I don't think it's wrong of her to somehow acknowledge her 30 years in the business.

Nothing will be confirmed about the album title until at least November but the names springing about are:

3012
3012: A Life Odyssey
Crashing Tides
Animal Instinct

But, we will soon find out! My cousin thinks it will ultimately be none of the above!

Oh, and a lot more work has been done on the album than people realise. A lot of the music has been recorded and most of the lyrics are written. About three songs are virtually complete including the as yet to be named lead single. It is the majority of Madonna's vocals that need recording now. Oh, and apparently there's to be a gospel choir on an uptempo song!

I should have gone to see her sad I didn't know she was coming here

You live in Toronto?

Yep I do, stuff like this excites me and I've seen celebs, but I didn't know she was coming, or maybe I forgot sad I would have worn my M t shirt and had her autograph one of her classic 45's...I'm not even that far from where she was ughhhh and I don't even feel like I've seen her before, I was in the nosebleed section at Sticky & Sweet. I last got starstruck a few months ago for an awards show taking place and seeing Jermaine Jackson at a pre-show event, but would have gone nuts for Madonna too and if I got her autograph, OMG....
