So I cant get behind this whole "he was mean to my favorite artist" nonsense, when everything thats happens in the celebrity world is PR publicity stunt anyway. Britney's a fucked up medicated mess who needs constant parental care first off, so Im sure that wasn't a wonderful fake relationship. As for Janet last time I looked it was HER superbowl. Her performance, her choregraphy. That Nip was suppose to slip.
Plus Janet was all bout Control, self empowerment and Independence, so it wouldn't be Justin's place to step in and protect the "lil defenseless girl". Janet got the shaft by the media, but Justin was never going to be the knight in shining armor. N its not his business. Same here, I guess the fact that I never paid attention to Brit or Janet means that I never realized he acted kinda shady to them.

He just really grates on me. I don't believe he has any talent, and whilst the same can be said for many other successful chart acts, Justin likes to pretend he's a cut above the rest. There's something very pretentious about him, posing on stage with ex-Prince band members as if he thinks the association will mean we'll all take him more seriously as a proper musician. His attempts at piano and guitar come off as little more than a poser trying to fool an audience into thinking he has musical chops of some kind.
His voice is distinctly average, he wasn't even the best singer in N Sync and his solo material is utter wank.

This is the only thing I disagree with. I do find Justin to be an extremely average vocalist and dancer. He isn't exceptional at anything. However, his music is quite good if you ask me.
"Justified" and "Future Love/Sex Sounds" are more interesting than say anything Usher or Chris Brown have done. Usher is a far better singer and dance than Justin, but his music is pretty safe for the most part. At least I think Justin tries to think outside the box a little and at least attempts to make more than just your average pop/r&b record.
The problem that I have with Justin is that he does NOT have any musical identity. On "Justified" he was channeling MJ BIG TIME. Even down to his performances and videos ("Like I Love You" at the vma's anyone? Talk about an MJ wannabe). Then on "Future Sex/Love Sounds" he was channeling Prince.
I like Justin and enjoy his music, but the guy has no musical identity of his own.
