Television personality and Public Enemy hype man Flavor Flav revealed a few shocking details about his life in a new interview with Popeater.
Flav, whose real name is William Drayton, said he spent nearly six million dollars on drugs and that he lost his virginity at age six.
The Flavor Of Love star told AOL’s Popeater he was “spending $2,600 a day, for six years, every single day” during the darkest days of his addiction to cocaine. "I don't know how much that is but if you did the math, wow, I went through a lot of money,” he added.
The rapper, who is promoting a just-released memoir, noted in the interview he only got clean when he “went out to California in the middle of 2003 and I changed my people, places and things.” Once in California, Flav began a successful run with VH-1, which documented his unique way of dealing with women and fame.
Speaking of women, Chuck D’s sidekick from Public Enemy told Popeater he lost his virginity at a time most are still playing with toys. “I was six years old,” the 52-year-old said of his first sexual experience.
“I lost my virginity by experimenting. The girl was the same age as me. We kind of felt a little something funny. We knew it was kind of wrong yet we felt it was kind of natural,” Flav told the website.
It’s no secret Flav has struggled with drug addiction in the past. During the 1990s he spent time at the Betty Ford Clinic as well as the Long Island Center for Recovery. Yet Flav’s claims of nearly $6 million spent on cocaine puts him in rarified rock star company.
Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes recently revealed that he spent $1 million on cocaine in his just-released memoir. Stevie Nicks also claimed in 2007 she spent “millions” on the drug. In 2009, rap producer Scott Storch said he lost a fortune by spending nearly $30 million on cocaine. | |

That some people waste more than most of the world will ever see in one lifetime...and struggle just to pay for food and rent. 
But if Flav did stick $6 million up his nose, no wonder he's so damn crazy now! I'm suprised he still has enough brain cells left to walk around with! And to brag about it!

In 2006, I spent mega dough on Hostess Suzie Q's. Maybe I'll quailify for a TV story based on being a Hostess SQ junkie. Never found any interest in Flava-Flav after he left Public Enemy. Even then I always used to find my self staring at the clock around his neck whilst the video played on and on. Also, his eyes always confused me.
Trivia: Flav's clock that he wears around his neck is always either set at 12 O'clock ("straight up") or at 6 O'clock ("Straight up and down").

I look at like he probably was the reason Flav stopped acting wild in the streets. Chuck obviously had to have been a good enough friend for Flav to focus on work rather than acting a fool so he told him "just only act a fool onstage" and it worked for a good hot minute... | |
