LOL, great GIF's. And you're right. Just thought it was interesting for two reasons.

1) it's not someone getting shot.

2) it highlights the entire "down low" culture among the hip-hop community.

I added the don't care part because I'm not familiar with the guy plus unscientificly guessing nine out of ten prostitution stings involve men, it's bound to happen that two or more of those busts will involve such a situation.

Hell, he's a shit hopper ain't he? I can count on one hand the times that I've met men that were heavy into shit hop that weren't rough trade. Some of them are just finally getting caught and a lot of folks don't want to believe it because they seem so "masculine". But I've said a hundred times before, an actual 100% straight man is not near as "masculine" seeming or nearly as homophobic either as these shit hoppers because they don't have something to prove.

Some of them are neutral but I guess it depends on the environment and how heavy they are into the industry and the image of being "hard/gangsta". I doubt that while one is out trying to hustle and make money that they would spend a lot of time trashing gays. It would only make you look suspect if that's all you ever do. The KKK is not really a good example because their whole reason for existing (and what they were founded on) is the so called preservation and superiority of the right race. Rap and Hip Hop does not exist nor was it founded on the premise that gays are evil. Matter of fact, any gay bashing in music came later in the game much like calling women bitches and hos did as it was the trendy thing to do. Now the trend leans toward rapping about money and luxury cars.

Just wondering how any gay guy in the music industry (any genre) could not remain neutral in on the issue of homosexuality when the odds of him getting popped like this DJ dude are so high and could pretty much ruin any career you have or are trying to have. Seems like you've got two choices: 1) come out the closet and make a stand or 2) stay in the closet but don't try and appear overly hetero and anti-homo as the same time lest you draw negative attention to yourself. That reminds me....when this DJ guy got busted, how did it get to the press so quickly? Is he a big name or something?
