Whew! I'm dumbfounded. He & Santana really know how to put some heavy weight on my chest.

The story behind Maggot Brain still get me, and I avoid hearing that song after a couple of times of listening to it.

The story draws me into the song even more. I'm put into a trance whenever that song plays.

He could do it, but only if he doesn't hold himself back. This piece is very comtemplative.

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Absolutely. The effect is totally hypnotic and the backstory makes it even more poignant. It's a song I can lose myself in.

I disagree. I think that George was right to fade the rest of the band out, the keyboards and bongos/percussion are a bit of a distraction.

Yeah George did right. I don't ever wanna hear the song with the instruments surrounding it. Destroys its beauty to me. George is truly a genius.

I think george is a conceptual genius but it's clear eddie was the best player when you hear the full band version anybody would have faded them I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the band was like yeah man fade that shit out
