Hey guys, bit of a random question; I was wondering where in Neverland parts of the Bashir interview had taken place, like at the beginning where he is laughing at Bashir's accent and surrounded by music equipment? Most of the stuff put out is pure cash. That's all they care about: money. Not the artistic value of his music and entertainment. Yeah I know - but it seems lately with playing WBSS, and SYBDTTG as well as DSTYGE that Prince is now being more open about his respect for MJ.

BTW I am reading the book Chaos and Disorder and an interesting tid-bit is that the Batman soundtrack was initially envisioned by Tim Burton as being a soundtrack by both Prince AND MJ - with MJ taking on the lighter aspect of the film and Prince the darker.

Michael Jackson was a man. He was not feminine - and no, he was not gay. The man totally defied typical American conventions of masculinity and sexuality, and people still don’t know how to process someone like him. Just because a man is slim and not “ripped”, just because he doesn’t objectify women, just because he has a soft speaking voice, just because he’s shy, just because he is pretty, just because he isn’t afraid to be silly and act like a kid, just because he writes lovely songs about healing the world instead of writing about how juicy some bitch’s ass is, just because he doesn’t have a new woman hanging on his shoulder every week — does NOT make him any less of a MAN; does NOT make him feminine. He stood up for what he believed in - always. Even when what he believed in drew ridicule, scorn, hatred from thousands of people. He respected everyone, regardless of race, religion, color, gender, sexuality. He gave thousands upon thousands of dollars to charity without a word to anyone - no bragging, no flaunting. He did it because he cared. He loved his mother, his kids, his family. He loved and even respected his father after openly admitting to the entire world that he beat him and told him things a father should never tell his son. "Thriller", the single, was released as the 7th single from the album, 14 months or so after the release of the album. Would it be fair to say that everybody pretty much already knew the song before the video came out? Was radio already playing the song a lot based on the overall success of the album already? Or did radio ONLY play the singles, and thus when "Thriller" the single came out, it was still quite new for a lot of people?
