He was at his best when he was on "Saturday Night Live". All the characters he played were great. James Brown, Little Richard, Michael Jackson, Velvet Jones, Mr. Rogers, and my alltime favorite, Buckwheat.

Andy is a four letter word.

No bias, who was better.

Eddie Murphy on SNL or Damom Wayans on SNL In Living Color?

i'm gonna say collectively, eddie murphy. wayans was good though, especially homey d. clown (a character written by the great mr. paul mooney).

If SNL played their cards right and used Wayans right when he was on the show, who knows what would have happened. Lots of folks don't know Damon was the token black gut to replace Eddie when he left SNL. Damon lasted half a season on the show ... he got him self fired cause he was never put in any sketches. So, once he was finally put in a sketch to play a cop (which he only had I believe one line in the first place.) He turned the cop into the gay character he would make famous on In Living Color and was fired on the spot. I guess Loren liked him cause on the season finale, he inviited him back to do a 25 minute stand up routine.

here is a rare SNL sketch with Damon Wayans

MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever
