I nominate Kim Kardashian debut single, Jam, for worst track of 2011. disbelief Even a software like Autotune couldn't save her ass on the mic.

And who the hell allow Kim to copy Diana Ross' hair weaves?!?

To be honest whoever did the production is the worst ever, the sound engineering is terrible, the mixing is awful, i mean shit isnt everything nowadays so simple? why does it seem like they struggled producing this??? Isnt this the dream production? said it before that guy straight up SUCKS!

The Dream must have lost his focus for all of those acts of adultery he was doing behind the back of his then-wife Christina Milian. lol

I always try to keep an open-mind because I love trashy pop music. imo you don't have to blow like Mimi and Whitney back in the day for me to like the music. But this is awful. Totally fucking awful.

Her voice is terrible. She sounds like she has no interest in it whatsoever. I can't stand this family. I couldn't imagine getting famous off of my sister's/daughter's/my own sex tape.

I 2nd that lol

Wow. That was actually WORSE than I thought it was gonna be. And I came in with pretty low expectations too!

Just a bad attempt all around, not just on Kims part. Would be embarrassed to have my name involved in that in any way.

Was there like 4 notes in the vocal through the entire song?

And Seacrest, very genuinely saying at the end he wants to play it again. Love to see the look on his face as he forced that out! lol wink

I finally mustered up enough strength to listen. Dream ought to be shot for this. I'm sure he got paid but damn bruh! Have you any integrity left. He didn't even make the girl sing. She didn't even try.

Oh yeah, her head game and sex was wack too. So unsexy. (womp womp sad ) Debbie Downer

I think I'm gonna enter showbusiness. If THIS can get released, I am sure I could make it as well. neutral

The worst thing is, it's not even bad in a good way, like "OMG this is hilariously shit"..... it's like it just doesn't even exist. It's just there, another song with nothing interesting or redeeming about it, by a reality star. Even us having a thread about it is more attention than it deserves.

And of course not only a thread for it, two plus pages on it, and wait till the video which i saw scenes from, shit, that'll be threee times as long. But yeah this song, doesnt even have a heartbeat, it still sounds like a demo of a demo being demo'd for demo purposes, and lets NOT FORGET the DREAM the so called genius beatmaker did this, lay the blame at his door, no one calls out producers when they produce shit, he did all for a paycheck, which means he really doesnt care about "music"

Yeah, it sounds like a demo.

One of those songs that the Dream and his associates have been shuttling back and forward between different female artists and girl groups.

And my first thought was...why the hell did she rip that title off??? mad

But yeah, gimme Prince and MJ anyday over this talentless, uninspired crap. The girl is better off being a fashion mogul than an entertainer. Leave music, acting, and show-business for people with actual talent.

Yes, this is a piece of crap, but I don't blame Kim for wanting to put out a single. She's just seizing her brief moment in the spotlight to do something she probably dreamed of doing since she was a little girl. Remebr, her daddy was an entertainment attorney, so she wwas probably exposed to a lot of music stars at an early age.

But I digress. This is a vanity single, which is no different than what was done by Don Johnson, Bruce Willis, Phillip Michael Thomas, Eddie Murphy, Shaquille O'Neal, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Paris Hilton, Heidi Montag, or that one lady from Real Housewives of New York who did a goofy dance single released in Europe only.

100% true, who can blame her, yeah her voice is horrible, but so is most of the industry, yeah the song is terrible, well, refer to my last response. This is exactly what everyone else did, like Eddie Murphy and DOn Johnson and Phillip Michael Thomas etc.....and the Heidi's and Paris's and Lindsay Lohan's, i mean i really highly doubt that Kim thinks she is a singer, and i really hope that none of the others i mentioned thought that way too. NOW whether we dug the others and not this is purely up to the listener, but please dont make it seem like those were some diffferent idea than what Kim is doing. Eddie even said it back in the 80's "i just felt like singing"

So who the hell can fault her for taking advantage of this chance, im shocked it didnt happen years ago.

no wonder the music industry in shambles. they let in any bullshit no-talent reality-TV/tabloid magazine "star" with a little notoriety that needs to come up with some staying power and credibility tacked on to stretch their 15 minutes of being famous for nothing after the fact.

see also: radio shows.
