so... VH1CLASSIC is now playing Pink Floyd's THE WALL

it's almost as bad as that Sgt. Pepper's movie

but clearly there is a storlyine here

and I missed the very beginning

what was it that the guy took

that turned him into THAT?

marching hammers, okay this is cool

[5th hit of the blunt and I'm now

feeling this section of the movie LOL]

okay nevermind..

I was about to come in here

and bash the movie

but this is way better than Sgt. Pepper's

the tunes have picked up & are now bangin!!!

(I rarely play THE WALL album)

I'm gonna have to pull that out

after this goes off

"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."

lol they practically played the entire album in the film. lol I love the parts where he has that flashback as a kid and his schoolmates incite a riot against the teacher and the part where his people find him passing out (overdosed?). That's why I love "Comfortably Numb" to this day. "TEAR DOWN THE WALL!" I was waiting for that voice to scream. lol

I'd love to get into Pink Floyd.

Couple of students I know produced a documentary for the college's radio show about the origins of Dark Side Of the Moon last semester as their graduation project, I envied them so much lol

I just found out for the first time that Doris Troy sang in the album eek and her performance was electrifying, I should've posted it in the eerie/dark thread.

yeah that was my first time. I know, I know LOL

@Harlepolis - I found that Sgt. Pepper's movie on DVD a few years back... I watched it once & sold it back, but I did rip a copy.. so if you would like for me to upload it for you, I can. It sucks though, my main interest in the movie was to see Minnie Riperton.. only for her to show up at the tail end LOL

HELL YEAH!

I have it on DVD and the live performance from Berlin on VHS.

I Love 'Comfortably Numb.' Great music. Get the DVD.

Being high for the first time, you'll like it more the second and the third . . .high or not.

There is a big picture (I think) but the details are so fascinating . . . .

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.
