I think they should've just released the Grammy performance as the official video. That was a great performance and made everyone stand up and pay attention, anyway.

For a 46-year old man who’s developing wrinkles and jowls to throw that out seemed pretty pathetic to me. But the entire thing is kind of pathetic at this point. The man has been one of the best producers alive for decades, but he hasn’t been a good rapper for a very long time, and Jimmy Iovine really should have left it at that.

It just dawned on me Dre will be 50 in a few years! How long is he gonna keep that charade up? No one can try to be "straight out of Compton" forever. People get mad at Ice Cube for doing kid films but at least he knew that if music didn't work, he had other options now he's making money off his TBS deal because of "Are We There Yet?" Not saying Dre ain't smart, he makes money off 50 and Eminem, but to hold off releasing an album for ten years is too much. Stevie Wonder could pull it off somewhat but Dre ain't really nice like that on his own. That's the troubling part. And he's too old to think he can pull off homophobic and mysognist words as if he hadn't left the streets.

I learned three things from this vid:

1. It's hard to tell if Eminem's career really is over if he continues to get nominations at award shows.

2. Forget wondering if Detox is going to suceed or fail. At this moment, none of us are convince that Dre even produce his own albums anymore.

3. I agree. Dre needs to leave those steroids alone before he goes too far like Scott Steiner!
