Yeah...total perv. You really have to question a man who has a hard time dealing with an adult woman. How much kid ass has ole dude had anyway? I know he had that one statutory rape charge with accompanying video but I've heard this has been ole boy's game for decades.; supposedly there have been other suits that were hushed via settlements.

She said yes, correct? and it was rumored that she was living with him at the time, as well. By the way, R. Kelly wasn't controlling her career... it was her uncle. What makes this all sad is that her parents and uncle knew about their relationship but didn't do shit for the sake of her career. Her uncle continued to manage both of them but R. Kelly fired him sometime in the late 90's and we know what followed after that.

I could say yes too if i felt my future was under the control of someone else and if I felt saying no would bring negative consequences.

I give cred to R. Kelly because as far as I know, her uncle didn't write & produce her debut album and appear along side her in any videos- that was Robert. From what I recollect...Hankerson introduced Aaliyah to Kelly who pretty much took it from there. No pun.
