Dance the new scene?

In the early 90s here were a few Dance artists mainly from Europe. Seems ike from '96 to '06 The US radio wouldn't touch dance music. Now it seems like every artists is a Dance artist. Well Dance-Pop the only one I think would really qualify and came from the Dance scene is Lady Gaga. But others are doing songs with a good amount of Dance sounds or albums with quite a few Dance songs on them. PPL like Rihanna, Usher,Beyonce, Kesha, Christina, Justin, Britney, Prince,Janet, Pitbull, Enrique, Justin(Bieber),Pink,Chris Brown, and alot of Hip Hop artists. It al sarted with Gwen Stefani. She was about the only new Pop artist who was doing Dance before the current wave.

So I want to know woul Dancelike music be considered the new music? Will it last for the nex 10 years, are sales higher? That and what is it effecting the underground dance scene and what comes next? I know Up north alot of black people listen to it but here in The South I'd be the only 1 of 2 black people in the club back in the 90s before they started playing Hip Hop. I ironically saw alot of black at a rave in Austin.

_______

Working up a purple sweat.
