Thanks for reminding me about this album. I bought it around Christmas on Amazon, the MP3 album for 4.99. Haven't gone and listened to it in almost a month.

"Joyful" sounds pretty good, but I think "Heaven" sounds like a single possibility. I believe "Lay with You" is still being worked as the current single.

It's so uplifting, with a great message, then all of a sudden gets real sexy at the end. I love it!

I still vote 'Close To You' or 'When I see You.' 'Lay With You' is also the shit.

"Joyful" is a lovely song but it is "When I See You" that gets me going. biggrin

It's the first album in I-don't-know-how-long that I can listen to all the way through without skipping a track. There really isn't a bad song on it.

I haven't been an El Debarge fan for long. I never listened to him growing up, he wasn't real big where I'm from. I really noticed him for the first time on the BET awards. He did his medley and I remember thinking "I know all these songs, I love all these songs, why do I not know anything about this guy?" I seriously felt ashamed of myself.

He said in a recent interview that he really wanted this album to have some mainstream success. Well, this white girl from Iowa is in love with it, so it that isn't reaching the masses, I don't know what is!
