Very good , modern RnB track .... I like how he changed his style ...if he can produce an album like this with a few uptempo tracks could be a good year for Ginuwine...

Surprised he's tried to add some soul into his voice...wink

Those day are well behind him ... just need to get some slick dance moves and 2 or 3 banging up-temp dance / rnb tracks .....Usher isn't doing much so there is a big gap in the market between Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and JD ...

Focus on the music and add the dance video's later ....Usher has drop the ball apart for OMG the last album is kind of weak, CB is washed up... JD is well poor and Ne-Yo is good but not sure he can carry the whole market ....

The whole Bobby Brown Market is still there just no one wants to take it? Too much hardwork or lack good songwriters?

Timberland seems to be in bed with JT and not working with anyone else?

Neptunes have gone all "rock n roll"

Ginuwine needs to mix his music writers up between young and old hats in the industry ...

cool

I should have been clearer. "Pony" had a vibe to it that set Ginuwine apart from everyone else at the time. Pony was unique in that it had the tempo of a slow song but went hard like a dance track. Most of the time when Pony was played in the clubs, it was played along with the fast songs. Truth be told, he needs another track like Sex

It never got the push that it should have but that direction works well for G. Dude has skills but gets resigned to balladeer when his true strength is his uptempo songs but he always undersells them in favor of his "bread and butter" ballads. If he could get his hands on another "hybrid" track like Pony that works as a ballad but has a hard beat to it, it could propel him back into the spot he needs to be in. It might be "too little, too late" for him but I believe he has it in him to show the Omarions, Marios and other MJ genre dancers wink lol how its done.

Yeah i'm a little shocked that Omarion and the Marios of this world have not worked hard enough at building a stage show .....

Ginuwine has like you said sold himself short by not working harder at the stage craft that's needed to fill the gap...

Ne-Yo and Usher are really the only two still doing the old school stuff and pulling it off.....are these new cats just lazy ....don't want to learn the splits, don't want to pick up a guitar or keyboard or even hold the mic right?

I can only put it down to greedy managers and agents breaking up this groups too early and trying to turn them into solo artist way before they have learned the craft .......

Then the supergroups idea started by the infamous R.Kelly and Jay-Z project just seem to kill the idea that artist can work together i.e. Lucy Pearl to make a Great Album...

Ego's have got in the way of talent and good songwriting cool

I'm surprised more people including Ginuwine didn't try to mimick "Pony". I guess it was just too unique.

When Pony come on in the clubs, prepare for a chick to make your night on the floor. That's like the ultimate grind song, lol.
