Usher Boo'd In Germany

He was sick. At least he tried to finish. Same thing happened to Ne-Yo recently.

Why did he even go through the concert and then cancel at the last minute. Today's entertainers crack me up. If you can't carry a show, cancel, if not, try to keep it moving. What an idiot.

Usher Walks Off Stage During Berlin Concert

Friday January 14, 2011 12:15 PM EST

It was not Usher's finest moment.

Forced to cancel his Wednesday concert at Berlin's 02 Arena at the last minute due to illness, the "OMG" singer, 32, rescheduled the show for the next night and promised his fans, via Twitter, "the show that you all properly deserve."

Unfortunately, his illness didn't clear up and Usher lip-synched his first two songs and danced poorly to them, according to local tabloid B.Z. Fans on the edge of the stage reportedly started complaining. Boos were also heard. In response, he reportedly lowered his head and stood silently on the stage for about four minutes before leaving altogether. The stage lights came on and fans were told the star was too sick to continue the show.

According to a statement released by Usher's rep Friday, the singer is "suffering from upper respiratory illness which is currently preventing him from performing a proper show. After consultation with doctors, he has been advised to reschedule the upcoming dates in order to get the rest he needs to ensure a complete recovery." (Shows in Rotterdam and Antwerp have been rescheduled for March.)

Usher himself expressed his disappointment about the situation. "I deeply regret having to reschedule the shows," he said in a statement released Friday. "I am truly sorry for any inconvenience I have caused my fans. My fans are the best in the world and I am looking forward to getting better so that I can give them the show they deserve."

He should have just walked off the stage in the beginning. The walking back and forth, "wait let me catch my breath" pauses, like..just WALK OFF. Stop embarrassing yourself.

And get rid of the mohawk. It doesn't suit your face.

It's his fault he decided to go on. I'm thinking, if you're sick, don't do the shows, reschedule before you step foot onstage and huff and puff about doing it. bored2 I'm GLAD he got booed!

Messy. Very messy. I'm with Timmy, if you know your ass is in no condition to perform, you reschedule it when you are feeling better. I would've booed his wack ass too. All the money I would've spent, please.

I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Seems like Mr Raymond has been lip syncing more as the years go by anyway. Kinda like that one female sibling of another male singer whose names I won't mention. lol

This is not the Usher I saw back in November. He gave one of the best live performances I've seen in YEARS and was not lipsynching at all cuz I was in his grill checking. One thing about Usher, he's been in the game for two decades and has been a consistently great live performer. He's definitely a throwback to real, old school entertainers and not a flake or faker like most of those of his generation. This was his second time cancelling in Germany so maybe he was trynna push himself to deliver a show and just couldn't. It's not like this is his MO or something so why folks can't cut him some slack?

He should've thought about his "sickness" before doing the concerts in Germany, that's all I'm saying. lol

nod And in that video he looks like he's going through some emotional issue not drunk or hung over. Maybe he's dealing with a loss in his family or something. Like I said, he doesn't have a history for flaking or being unprofessional so I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Hope its nothing really really serious...That's just weird

Nevertheless of course the crowd is gonna be mad..I would be too.. yelling right along with them.."I WANT MY MONEY BACK"!!! If you know you're sick just cancel the shows all together.

That's one thing you can give someone like Beyonce, hate her or love her...the bish fell down a whole flight of stairs and just flipped her weave around and kept it moving..I thought she broke her neck or something...

Some of the many sacrifices to be an entertainer...We want unstoppabble machines when go to a concert.

Get Well Usher.

He had to know backstage prior to going on whether or not he could do it.

Unfortunately he's in a no win situation...whatever he decided to do, he was going to disappoint.

Must be the extra pressure of trying to be the new MJ. rolleyes
