I think 4X4=12 is one of Deadmau5's weakest releases, btw. And I'm a big fan.

Even if a lot of people don't participate in the discussion, there are still a lot of lurkers on the forums. You should really post it anyways. As for 4x4=12 a lot of people were saying that it's a lot poppier than his previous albums. I'm still getting into him and going through his discography.

Thats a nice thought, but after more than 15 years online I can tell you with complete certainty that maybe, MAYBE, a handful of people will pay any attention to what I've posted. And out of those maybe a couple will remember some of it and check it out again outside of this thread... but I doubt it.

Deadmau5, imo, is suffering a bit from the "I don't really know a lot about music but I made some really succesful house records so now I've got to try something different" syndrome. However, no, he doesn't. Because I think it exposes his weaknesses. Just make some solid, late night melodic house tracks and be happy you've got an audience.
